About Play Every Pixel

Play Every Pixel started with a simple idea: every game deserves to be played.

Not every game becomes a classic. Some are forgotten over time. Others are dismissed too quickly, buried under bigger releases or changing trends. But every game is the result of someone’s creativity, effort, and vision. Sometimes, the most interesting experiences are hiding in places we don’t expect.

For me, games have always been more than something to pass the time. They’re memories. Late nights trying to beat a difficult boss. Getting lost in a world that feels bigger than your living room. Discovering a story or mechanic that sticks with you long after the credits roll.

Play Every Pixel is a place to explore those moments.

Here you’ll find essays, reflections, and reviews about games both old and new—whether they’re beloved classics, overlooked titles from the backlog, or games that simply left an impression worth talking about. Some pieces dig into gameplay and design, while others reflect on the personal experiences games create.

Because sometimes the most meaningful part of a game isn’t just finishing it.

It’s what you take away from the experience.

Because every game, in its own way, tells a story.

And sometimes the most interesting ones are the games we least expect.

About the Author

My name is Trace, a lifelong gamer who grew up playing everything from classic JRPGs to whatever game happened to land in my hands next.

Some of my favorite gaming memories come from moments of perseverance – finally defeating a boss after countless attempts, finishing a long RPG journey, or discovering a game that completely surprised me. Those moments are what make games special.

Through Play Every Pixel, I write about the games that leave an impact, regardless if they’re well-known classics or hidden gems waiting to be rediscovered.

Because sometimes all a game needs is someone willing to give it a chance.
